Gardeniser Pro Training Course
The course will run on Wednesdays from the 18th March - 13th May.
The course will comprise of:
3 whole days in person, 10am - 4pm at Oxford City Farm
(on the 18th March, 15th April and 13th May)
5 weeks of 2 hour online zoom sessions, 1-3pm
(on the 25th March, 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th April)
When and Where?
Gardeniser (Garden-organiser) is an indepth course covering everything but the practical gardening side of running a community garden or city farm. If you work in the sector, are setting up your own site or are just interested in getting into the world of community gardening, this is a great place to start!
We are particularly interested in applications from individuals based in and around the Oxford area.

Working effectively with staff and Volunteers
Financial Sustainability.
Module Three
- Understanding costs and budgeting
- Creating an action plan for your community garden
- Explore different ways to bring in income
- Evaluating your project
- Organisation Health Check
If you are interested in becoming a Gardeniser and want to know more, please scan the QR code or follow the link to fill out an application form. The deadline to apply is the 22nd February and you will hear about your place by the 2nd March.
The cost of the course is £350 and you will receive a Gardeniser Pro license once all the classroom and practical work are fulfilled and you have passed the test.
We are hoping to secure some funding to offer bursary places at a reduced rate but this is not guaranteed. Please let us know in the application form below if you would like to be considered for a bursary place.
