Gardeniser Pro Training Course
The teaching part of the course will run from Monday 27th July - Friday 31st July, 10am - 4pm in person at Oxford City Farm.
The course comprises of:
Classroom: 5 whole days in person, 10am - 4pm at Oxford City Farm
Homework: Approx 40 hours of homework after the 5 day course, to be completed within 2 months.
Online Test: A simple test to gain certification and a license to be a Gardeniser Pro.
When and Where?
Gardeniser (Garden-organiser) is an indepth course covering everything but the practical gardening side of running a community garden or city farm. If you work in the sector, are setting up your own site or are just interested in getting into the world of community gardening, this is a great place to start!
We are particularly interested in applications from individuals based in and around the Oxford area.

- Understanding costs and budgeting
- Creating an action plan for your community garden

The cost of the course is £350 and you will receive a Gardeniser Pro license once all the classroom and practical work are fulfilled and you have passed the test.
We are hoping to secure some funding to offer bursary places at a reduced rate but this is not guaranteed. Please let us know in the application form below if you would like to be considered for a bursary place.
